Battery life is great along with easy connectivity to a PC. Pros: It's a lot cheaper than an iPod and plays music just as good. Great for a workout without putting your smart phone in harms way. It's small and compact, and it can just simply clip on. The buttons feel good, and device works really well.

This MP3 player is a great player for the price.

This review is from SanDisk - Sansa Clip Zip 4GB* MP3 Player - Purple I had to use my Sony headphones that were a very snug fit and after plugging and unplugging those a couple of times my audio cable now is able to plug in ok. I don't use the headphones that come with it and I tried to plug in an audio cable to connect it to an external speaker. So far, there is 1 thing that was an initial cause for concern and that is the headphone jack. music can be copied or deleted as though it were any other storage medium like a flash drive) I like this player primarily for 4 reasons:ġ) The price is very affordable compared to many other MP3 players particularly Apple products.Ģ) The size is great for wearing the player as well as using it on the go as an audio source for an external speaker.ģ) The internal storage of 4GB is good but I have added a 32GB microSD card so now it is a 36GB MP3 player in a very small form factor.Ĥ) I can transfer music without any additional software. The Clip Zip is very similar and I am hoping it lasts as long or longer. I previously owned the Sansa Clip for 3 years and was very happy with that product. I just received this a few days ago so I haven't been able to test all features or it's long term durability.

You can make an "on the go" playlist of favorite songs, right from the device, and you can also copy your Windows Media Player playlists to the device when you transfer your music from a PC. Once in a while it might freeze, or the music on the SD card won't show up in the menu, so just hold in the power button until it shuts off, wait 30 seconds, then turn it on again and it will be good to go. Smoke a cig and have a coffee and relax for a nice moment while you wait. Of course, when loading Gigabytes of music, it takes some time for them to load from your computer to your device, so be patient. However, If the songs are on the SD card, it makes the battery drain a lot faster when those particular songs are playing. If your songs are on the device itself, it will last for many hours, more than an iPod shuffle (as long as the screen is not constantly on (you can adjust the settings of the screen timeout, too). The jack is really tight when you first use it, so you gotta make sure the headphones are plugged in all the way. I had to push the headphone jack in VERY hard when I first got it.

Plus there is an equalizer on it that you can adjust to make it sound however you like! Try using better headphones (I use SkullCandy ear buds) and you will have awesome quality sound. If the sound quality isn't great, it's the cheap headphones that come with it, not the actual MP3 player. It has everything my old Shuffle had, plus a lot more (lke expandable storage by way of a MicroSD card slot, FM radio, voice recording, live radio recording, customizable menu, and more).

It has many great features and settings that you can customize to your preference. The screen is bright and colorful and the menu is not too hard to figure out. It is about the same size and weight of my iPod Shuffle. You don't have to use iTunes or any programs, just plug it into your computer via USB cable and drag and drop your music onto it like you would a flash drive. This was just about the same size as my Shuffle, and after using it for awhile, I like it better. I had an iPod Shuffle (1GB) and I was looking for more storage space.
